Allegheny Health Network, Cigna Healthcare Reach 3-Year Contract Agreement
PITTSBURGH (June 27, 2025) — Allegheny Health Network and Cigna Healthcare today announced that a new contract agreement has been reached between the two organizations.
The new three-year contract ensures that Cigna Healthcare insurance beneficiaries in the greater Western Pennsylvania region will continue to have full, in-network access to AHN’s clinical programs, its 14 hospitals, and its employed physicians and clinicians.
“This contract is fantastic news for the more than 20,000 Cigna members in this region who rely on AHN for their care,” said AHN President Mark Sevco. “It ensures continued, in-network access to AHN’s expert clinicians, and to the exceptional-quality, high-value care that their members and our patients expect and deserve.”
The new contract runs through June 30, 2028. Cigna members who have clinical visits or procedures scheduled for next week will be able to keep those appointments.
