Our residents are a diverse group, hailing from Pittsburgh or around the globe. Although each has a unique background and story to tell, what unites them is their intense commitment to learn while providing the best patient care possible.

Jonathan Ghobrial, MD
Dr. Jonathan Ghobrial grew up in Wheeling, WV, a town just an hour outside of Pittsburgh. He attended the University of Pittsburgh for his undergraduate studies and earned his bachelor's degree in neuroscience with a minor in religious studies. Dr. Ghobrial attended medical school at West Virginia University School of Medicine, Morgantown, WV. He completed his internal medicine residency at Allegheny Health Network in June 2026. Following his chief year, he plans to pursue a fellowship in gastroenterology. Outside of medicine, Dr. Ghobrial enjoys traveling, teaching Sunday school, attending fitness classes, and spending time with family and friends.. 

Marissa Gorvet, DO
Dr. Marissa Gorvet was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio. She earned her bachelor's degree in biology from The College of Wooster and her master's degree in biological sciences from Youngstown State University. She then earned her medical degree from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio, and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Allegheny Health Network in June 2026. Outside of work, Dr. Gorvet enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling to new places, hiking in the mountains, being outdoors in the sunshine, staying physically active, and snuggling up with her two kitties. 

Saleh Saleh, MD
Dr. Saleh Saleh was born in Baghdad, Iraq then moved to Amman, Jordan during his childhood. He earned his medical degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology in Irbid, Jordan then worked in Amman for a year as an intern physician. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Allegheny Health Network in June 2026. Following his chief year, Dr. Saleh is hoping to pursue a fellowship in Cardiology. Outside of medicine, he enjoys reading fantasy and science fiction, hiking and exploring national parks, and traveling to experience new cultures, cuisines, and landscapes.

Emily Sullivan, DO
Dr. Emily Sullivan was born in the Finger Lakes region of central New York. She attended State University of New York at Geneseo for her undergraduate studies obtaining a bachelor's degree in biology. Dr. Sullivan completed a combined DO/MBA program through Kansas City University & Rockhurst University respectively then completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Allegheny Health Network in June 2026. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her friends & family, gardening, listening to audiobooks, cooking new recipes, and spending time out in nature.
