Dear Doctor,
Welcome to the Allegheny Health Network Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship! Thank you for taking time to explore our program. The application process can be quite stressful, and I wish you well as you select your professional home for the next three years (sometimes longer!)
At AHN, we are training future leaders in cardiology. Our well-balanced academic cardiology training program is designed for clinicians, clinician-educators, and clinician-scientists who will practice thoughtful, high-quality, and cost-effective medicine. Located in the heart of Pittsburgh, our program cares for the local underserved Northside community, the broader Western Pennsylvania region, and those traveling farther for specialized quaternary care. Our main campus, Allegheny General Hospital (AGH), is one amazing cardiology classroom!
We feel strongly that our high-volume, high-acuity clinical rotations paired with our team’s intentional culture of community, support, and mentorship provide a unique training environment.
