AHN Neurosurgery Residency - Life Outside of the Hospital

At AGH, there is a strong focus on camaraderie between
not just the residents but also between residents, faculty, and staff. We are
one big family after all! In addition to developing this camaraderie while
caring for patients in the hospital, there are numerous events outside of the
hospital to foster friendships among peers and faculty alike. Whether they are
small outings or department planned events, you won't want to miss out on the

Let's not forget about the AHN fitness center, "Club Allegheny", located right by the hospital where residents visit often to keep in shape.

So it is no surprise that Pittsburgh offers a place where residents can afford to rent out a beautiful apartment or buy their own home, easily commute to work, enjoy the diverse restaurant and brewery scene, and explore all the various events and venues that the city has to offer.
