• Diagnosis and treatment for every kind of injury and illness. That includes traumas, broken bones, burns, heart conditions, stroke, and acute care such as high fever or chest pain.

• Transparent wait times. Digital waiting room signs throughout the emergency department post wait times so you can better gauge when you’ll be seen.
• Family notifications. Once admitted, your family can receive automatic text alerts to get updates on your condition and room information.  
• Enhanced staff communications. Electronic white boards in each treatment room allow our staff to quickly communicate about your care. The staff also wears hands-free devices to speak with other providers and specialists in real time to ensure no critical time is lost when treating patients.
• Virtual ICU system. For patients within our intensive care unit, our virtual monitors connect to a remote team of intensive care nurses and specialists who can closely monitor vital signs, lab results, medications, and other data. They can then quickly alert hospital staff if there are critical changes.
• LifeFlight services. With a helipad on our roof, Jefferson Hospital staff can quickly transfer patients from the helicopter to our emergency department.
