Since 1978, Forbes Hospital has been providing quality care for the communities of eastern Allegheny and Westmoreland counties. As the area has grown, so has Forbes. A 349-bed facility with 15,000 inpatient admissions, 12,000 surgeries and nearly 50,000 emergency department visits annually, we bring an advanced level of care to our patients.

The hospital now provides a complete array of surgical, medical, rehabilitative, and emergency care. Forbes also became accredited by the Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation as a Level II Trauma Center as of October 1, 2013. Forbes is the 31st trauma center in Pennsylvania.
