The ID Division comprises a group of dedicated physicians who care for a wide variety of patients with infectious diseases. Our faculty members have interests spanning Solid Organ/Bone Marrow Transplant, HIV, Surgical Site Infections, Inclusion Health, Infection Prevention, Hospital Epidemiology, and Antimicrobial Stewardship. Our inpatient ID consultation services are complimented by robust specialty care clinics. The faculty and fellows within the Critical Care Medicine Division provide services in the Medical, Surgical, Cardiac, Neurology, and Trauma Intensive Care Units.
Fellows have dedicated medical ICU rotations in the second year to help prepare their transition to the critical care medicine-predominant, third year of fellowship. The third year of medical training is heavily CCM-focused, but some time is provided for supplemental training on the ID service. Our trainees are board-eligible for Infectious Disease and Critical Care Medicine after completion of their second and third years, respectively.
The Infectious Disease Fellowship program is part of the Graduate Medical Education (GME) opportunities offered by the AHN Medical Education Consortium. Learn more about Graduate Medical Education.
