Forbes is part of the Allegheny Health Network (AHN) Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Institute. Here, you receive care from a dedicated team of specialists, including psychiatrists, psychologists, mental health therapists, and social workers. Our services include:

• Inpatient treatments: Our 37-bed inpatient unit provides services for people experiencing serious behavioral health crises and mood disorders. We offer medication management, group and individual counseling, and electroconvulsive therapy. Learn more about inpatient behavioral therapy

• Outpatient treatments: Our behavioral health experts provide one-on-one counseling and treatments for children, adolescents, and adults. We provide help for a variety of problems, including:
  
  • ADHD (attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder)
  • Anxiety
  • Autism
  • Dementia
  • Depression
  • Family and marital problems
  • Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

Forbes behavioral health unit visiting hours

People in our inpatient unit may receive visitors on:
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
