Meet the Saint Vincent Hospital CNO

Jill M. Muir, DNP, MS, RN, CCM, NE-BC

Chief Nursing Officer, Saint Vincent Hospital and Grove City Hospital

Jill Muir serves as the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) for AHN Saint Vincent Hospital and AHN Grove City Hospital. In this role, she leverages her extensive experience and demonstrated leadership in nursing administration, quality improvement, and patient care to drive excellence across both institutions.

Prior to joining AHN, Dr. Muir held the position of Chief Nursing Officer for Penn Highlands DuBois, Penn Highlands Clearfield, and Penn Highlands Brookville hospitals. During her tenure, she spearheaded significant initiatives focused on trauma services, infection control, and nurse retention. Her career also includes roles as Director of Acute Care Services at Indiana Regional Medical Center and Manager of Disease/Complex Management at Highmark Health. These experiences have provided her with a comprehensive understanding of healthcare operations and reinforced her commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Dr. Muir holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, a Master of Science in Health Services Leadership, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and a Diploma in Nursing.
