Biography
Timothy Brown is currently a diagnostic medical physics resident with Allegheny Health Network. Tim is a graduate from Georgia Institute with an M.S. in Medical Physics and graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a B.S. in Biological Physics. Prior to becoming a diagnostic medical physics resident Timothy worked as a certified medical device management systems auditor and junior consultant for Brown & Associates Quality Consulting, Inc., where he gained experience in quality control and risk analysis that he used to research the potential benefits of supplementing current tools used in medical physics with advanced quality management systems methods. Concurrently, he helped with the maintenance and operation of his family’s farm/wildlife preserve, assisting in a U.S. National Resource Conservation Service reforestation project.
Education
Timothy obtained his Master’s in Medical Physics from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2023. Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Physics from the University of Central Arkansas in 2019.

Biography
Kedree Proffitt is currently a first-year diagnostic medical physics resident with Allegheny Health Network. Kedree is a graduate of Wayne State University with an M.S. in Medical Physics and graduated from the University of Michigan-Flint with a B.S. in Physics. Before becoming a diagnostic medical physics resident, Kedree worked with M3D Inc. and Wayne State to assess the clinical and safety applications of real-time distant radiation imaging with a dual-mode coded aperture gamma camera/Compton camera. Alongside research, Kedree taught STEM, physics, and medical physics to children, undergraduates, and radiotherapists, respectively.
Education
Kedree obtained his Master’s in Medical Physics from Wayne State University in 2026. Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Michigan-Flint in 2024.
