When you deliver at Jefferson, you prepare for your child's arrival in our new, spacious delivery suites — with room for the whole family to welcome the new baby. Our on-site obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and neonatal nurses provide 24/7 medical support for you and your baby. We are also equipped with a Level II neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) to care for premature infants or those who have special medical needs.
For a more intimate birthing experience, you may choose to work with one of our certified nurse midwives. Serving the only midwifery program in the South Hills, they focus on the natural, healthy processes of pregnancy, labor, and delivery. Our nurse midwives personally connect with their patients to help you make the most of your journey toward parenthood.
