At West Penn Burn Center, we believe that preventing burn injuries is just as important as treating burn injuries. That’s why community outreach is a vital part of the Center’s mission.

Free burn prevention programs, a special Scald Prevention Program, and safety outreach programs for all age groups within the community are available. These programs can be part of a community event — for example, a community health fair — or offered by a community group to its members and the neighborhood.

We have a Senior Brochure, College Brochure, and other printed safety materials to accompany burn prevention education activities for all ages.
