Cancer screenings and eligibility

Based on your eligibility, you can schedule the following cancer screening tests:

1. Breast cancer: Mammogram
2. Cervical cancer: Pap smear
3. Colorectal cancer: Noninvasive fecal immunochemical test (FIT)
4. Head and neck cancer: Physical exam of head and neck to check for lumps
5. Lung cancer: Low-dose computed tomography (LDCT)
6. Prostate cancer: Prostate-specific antigen (PSA) blood test
7. Skin cancer: Physical exam for signs of skin cancer

Our cancer screening clinics are staffed by our expert clinicians who provide these tests and review the results. When you call to schedule, you’ll be asked more details about your age and the time since your last screening for each type of cancer to determine your eligibility for each test. You will also be asked about insurance coverage to determine if you have a copayment due at the time of your screening.

Patients with and without insurance are welcome to the screening events. If you have insurance, we will bill any screening tests to your insurance. There are no out-of-pocket expenses for anyone.  

A provider will review your results and will contact you for any items needing follow-up. All results will be visible to you directly in MyChart.
